Description:

  • A checking account with no fees as long as the balance remains above $0.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or must be jointly opened with an adult.
Benefits:
  • Easy access to funds.
  • Monthly Bank Statements.
Cost:
  • No service charge unless balance falls below $0.00. In addition to NSF and Overdraft charges, if balance falls below $0.00 any day of the statement cycle, a service charge fee of $3.00 plus $.15 per debit item will be imposed on the account.
  • No service charge is imposed for seniors over 62 and students under 22 whose parents have an account relationship with Dakota Heritage Bank.

Description:

  • An account that pays interest on your balance and provides easy access to your money.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or must be jointly opened with an adult.
  • A minimum of $750.00 to open this account.
Benefits:
  • This account is an interest bearing account.
  • Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit.
  • Interest will be compounded monthly.
  • Interest will be credited to the account monthly.
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on the principle of this account.
Cost:
  • No service charge unless balance falls below $750.00. In addition to NSF and Overdraft charges, if the balance falls below $750.00 any day of the statement cycle, a service charge fee of $5.00 plus $.15 per debit item will be imposed on the account.

Benefits:
  • This account is an interest bearing account.
  • This account uses a tiered interest rate. The annual percentage yield will depend upon the daily balance in the account.
  • Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit.
  • Interest will be compounded monthly.
  • Interest will be credited to the account monthly.
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on the principle of this account.
Cost:
  • No service charge unless balance falls below $2,500.00. If balance falls below $2,500.00 daily balance, a service charge fee of $10.00 plus $.20 per debit item will be imposed on the account.

Description:

  • Checking account that lets you set aside pre-tax money to be used for qualified medical expenses.
Requirements:
  • Must be covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must not be claimed as a dependent on another person’s tax return.
  • Must not be enrolled in Medicare.
  • Total amount contributed for any tax year may not exceed annual limits.*
Benefits:
  • This account is an interest bearing account and is credited to the account monthly.
  • Easy access to Funds.
  • Can help cover out-of-pocket health costs.
  • Unused funds roll over from year to year to assist with future medical expenses.
Cost:
  • $2 monthly service charge.
